I am not sure what in the universe has changed but I am no longer able to capture video. I just bought a 64 bit Windows 7 Pro system because I lost drivers on my xp machine. The new system does not see my machine using any capturing program. Do I need to purchase a capture card and if so does anyone have any suggestions on which one would be best. I am so frustrated about this. I ...

I have something on a PVR that I'd like to burn to a DVD. The only problem is that it only has RCA outputs to copy content to VHS, like this RCA, for those that don't know: What would be the best course of action?

Hello all, I am using, for a traffic streaming camera, an encoder made by the above. It is the "Hauppauge WinTV USB Live Pro" and does the job nicely into my Dell XPS600 tower pc using XP. I wish to change to Windows7 but Hauppauge tell me that the above will not work with Win7. They have no plans to make it so either. Question: What ...

I have a WebCam via usb. I am writing a library which uses DirectShow to preview and capture video and audio. My system has additional DirectShow devices like a soundcard. If I run the graph, I get the error:  VFW_E_SAMPLE_TIME_NOT_SET ( 0x80040249 ). My Filter Graph looks like this:                                                    +- (preview) ------------------------> video...

Video capturing from analog sources
Started 4 days, 7 hours ago (2009-12-18 00:18:00)  by eminutia
Hi. I recently purchased an Easycap device, and it came with ULead software to capture video, but the size of the video file is too big, and I've tried other video capture software but the final video always turns out off-time (audio and video not synced). Anyone have any suggestions on what software I can use so that the video is properly synced?
