Hello Everybody I teach a local Votech in my area and we are looking at redoing our ventilation system...Currently our system sucks!!! I have looked at the "Clean air systems" Lincoln's systems, and 2 others. I'm interested in a hood system because of the amount of pipe that we weld. Down draft systems won't work. I have arms in my shop currently. It's hard to get people, let alone kids...

I am designing a comm closet. Inside will only be the patch panels and cisco switches etc.. Can this small 4'x 4' Closet be sealed? or does it need some type of ventilation? does this room get hot? i see maybe only 2 switches at most. Should ask for a bath type fan to be installed? or would a vented door be good enough?

I am a hospice nurse and had a referral on a home ventilation patient that has pulmonary issues as well as E/S cirrhosis. The company I work for does not want to take a ventilator patient. I am looking for resources and education in the subject. The patient cannot go to a MS nusing home as they do not take vent patients. I feel we could admit him for the cirrhosis. The hospital is training the ...

We just replaced the PVC on a 2003 540i BMW 4.4L V8. The local garage wanted $550 (BMW dealership; ?$$$?)- you can DIY. It is bolted to the rear of the intake manifold by seven T-30 star cap screws. You need some high quality T-30 wrenches and a small (~6 inch) Vice-Grip pliers. We used both 1/4 and 3/8 drive - what is needed is small diameter (because of adjacent hardware) for some ...

I have a question and someone out there may have an answer. Our furnace is located in our unfinished basement. There is a large pipe (8 maybe 10 inches in diameter) that leads to the outside of the house. The outside end has a cover with slats to keep animals, etc. out, but allow air in. The inside end of the pipe has no cover at all. The problem is that my kids like to play in the ...

I have a Lian-Li Muse PC-37B case stuffed in my entertainment unit and I'm having trouble keeping it cool enough. The intake vents are sitting on the top, one for the power supply and the other for the processor. Unfortunately the heat of the air inside the entertainment unit gets quite warm and my CPU/Motherboard temps are reporting about 53C each ...

I am having a difficult time finding a designer/installer of HRV and ERV systems for residential applications. I am in central NH. An energy audit on my home shows what I thought - my home is too tight and I need a whole house ventilation system. I use outside combustion air for my oil fired boiler with FHW radiant floor and baseboard heat. I do not have any duct work in place so this ...
