Say someone (not me) is really good at poker. Is variance really a factor or how much of a factor is it at say NL10 on stars? I'm thinking if they are so much better than the other players its not a factor. How wrong am I?

Is variance like this normal?? These runs happened consecutively. [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] *This is an honest question. Not doing it to get sympathy. Curious if runs like these happen alot in SNGs and also how accurate the luck thing is for HEM.

What is the process to get a variance? How long would you expect it to take? I have a small shed a few feet in front of my house, and Huntington doesn't allow shed in front yards.

Hi, In need of a simple formula to indicate whether the location needs recounting based on a variance/ tolerance figure. If the count is within "+" or "-" the box qty then no recount , if it is outside that criteria , then we need to recount. Eg... System stock holding in cell d4 = 125 System box qty in cell e4 = 10 Count figure in cell f4 = 120 Diff figure g4 = -5 ...

for a given function f the mean value theorem states that the average value of the function on an interval [a;b] is But what about the variance? Hacking back to my descriptive statistics, I'm thinking something along the lines is that correct? And what should the prop-factor be?

I have been wondering about antennas even if I am fairly happy with speed. Generally I get downloads in the 650 K/bits/sec range. Using Verizon access manager on my Verizon 720 modem, a quick check of EVDO signal strength showed -77 and -84 for 1xrtt. A few seconds later I got got a -2 decrease. Meanwhile the signal meter is always either 2 or 3 bars on a 4 point scale. And...

I am trying to track variances. Ex: I have a 30 day task that has started ontime. The resource has worked the task ontime for 15 days of work so the task is on scheduled and 50% completed. Then the resource gets sick for 5 working days. When I update the status date and current date and plug in the actuals for this task at the end ...

Ironically, with all of the talk about using averages, the NSCA site now has everyone's averages posted along with the total target count for each shooter. It's pretty neat, but I have my doubts as to the accuracy, given the variance in target difficulty. Bill

I want to show variances measured by finish variances; something similar to this would be fine: Switch([Finish Variance]/[Minutes Per Day]5 And [Finish Variance]/[Minutes Per Day]10,3) However I want to highlight the difference between lets say a 30 day task (what I mean is 30 days worth of [work]) being lets say having a 5 ...

SO I want my team managers to easily identify tasks that are running behind that CAN be corrected and completed before BASELINE finish of the task in question. The idea is that at the most a resource can work an additional 2 hours per day to make up the variance. What I am trying to identify is the number of hours remaining in the work ...
