Good news everyone, we are in the process of launching an official "VWvortex Gear" webstore. This store will be run by a company that specializes in doing webstores, and we're hoping to be live around mid-December. Gone are the days of coming to the VWvortex booth at a show and asking if we have any tshirts for sale. No more will you need to send a self addressed stamped envelope to our ...

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeropost?...how&id=4597 422 My buddy just told me about this Nov. 7th, Saturday drive. Any Euro cars are invited; doesn't have to be VW or Audi if you've got some Bimmer friends or anything. Starts at Pescadero Beach on Highway 1 around 10:30am, and ends up Big Sur around lunchtime. Good bit of people are getting lunch at the Big Sur River Inn as well. I ...

Volkswagen sells a lot of Golfs including all variants, more than 450,000 were sold last year in Europe alone. Since its introduction in 1974, a staggering 25 million units have moved from lots. Marketed across the world, the Golf is one of those simple cars that doesn't necessarily excel in any one particular area, but does everything quite well at a reasonable price. Calling the Golf an ...

I was at the junk yard and picked up some fog lights off a golf. I also got fog light switch off VWvortex. When I pulled from the fogs from the junk yard I ended up cutting the wires about 1' from the fog lights. Now, my question is... Where are the wires that I tap into to get this hooked up? If I look under the car will I see them by the radiator? Also, what about a relay?...

Opposite of this thread: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4656123 After a DUI driver totalled my '85 Accord I found my way into a '92 Corrado SLC I always had engine problems with that car and was too young, dumb and poor to figure them out myself or pay someone to fix them. Sold it in the spring of '97 for $11,000 cash. Dude brought the money (all $20s) in a brown paper bag, so ...

Hello all! I just wanted to introduce myself as a new member of the forums here at VWVortex. Last week, I purchased a brand new 2010 VW Jetta 2.0T Wolfsburg Edition for my fiance. The candy white on cornsilk leatherette Jetta is replacing a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer and is an addition to my fleet of a '04 Crown Vic and a '03 Town Car. I am all new to VW. Though my sister had two brand new Jettas ...

I'm new to TDI's, but not new to wrenching on cars or turbos. I bought a 2004 with a grenaded turbo, and had a recommended shop install it and a new Intercooler. I've read lots here and on vwvortex and on myturbodiesel. I have replaced all fluids, done a DP, cleaned the snow screen and replaced the MAF. Timing belt and Camshaft were replaced 10k miles ago. Fresh 505.01 oil in it now and ...
