I always see modified car magazines like Modified Mag and Import Tuner, and they're all about Hondas and Nissans. Any that feature VWs? let me know, thanks

Every time I see a NEW Audi, I am very impressed and start to stare. But many people on forums and stuff say Audis are just rebadged VWs as they say Bose are overpriced peace of crap. So I want to get to know your guys personal opinion. Or should I just stick with my BMW?

Having just caught the replay of Top Gear I see VW were voted 2nd for the best car maker ever, but Clarkson and co went Lancia because they had 7 truly classic cars. Surely VW must have at least 8? I propose 1) mk2 Golf GTi - best hot hatch evaaaaar 2) the original Beetle. I know Hammond slate it BUT they allowed the Stratos in based on 'achievement'. The beetle sold eleventy ...

I haven't had the best of luck in the Seattle area for servicing my two VWs. Chaplin's in Bellevue is super convenient, but I won't go back there. Can anyone please tell me of a dealer they were happy with? I have a Touareg that need to have some warrantied (under 80k) work done on the cats (replacement). Thanks!

I figured I'd post a link to my ebay auction of my Bentley manuals and my Vag-Com interface. I'm getting out of working on VWs now, so maybe someone can benefit from what I've collected. Starting bid is $500, buy it now is $1750. My previous vw had this. It basically used the brake to stop the slip on the one wheel that was slipping. How does the focus system work? Does it disable the engine or does it monitor each wheel individually like VWs do? BTW this is not the stability control, just traction control.

I've been an owner of VWs and Audis in the past and they all seem to have those red puddle lights that shine down from the ceiling console. I noticed that the holes are there in my TT roadster but no light comes out of them. Also, my old A4 had lights inside the doorhandles but the TT does not...is this true or are my lights not working??
