I have a C# form that whenever it is opened in designer, it immediately displays as having been modified even though no changes have been made. Specifically, the .cs file and the .resx file get modified. A diff of the changes in the .cs file shows the height of a few of the child controls as changed slightly. A diff of the .resx file shows that some of the image data has changed. If those ...

Here is my situation: I have a very big page comprized of many diferent sections. I want to develop all sections in separate ASP.NET forms, but show all (or some) of them in one page. I will also need to re-order the sections in any order, but most importantly to submit all the forms at the same time with a "Submit" button at the end of the page. So for example I have: Section A ...

Hallo Friends, I'm stuck a time now to get the right text data from an 4D SQL Server v11.5 from a TEXT type field via a client created with visual Studio 2005 and C# or a Commercial one with ODBC ability. The problem is: If the Field on the 4D SQL Server has more than 2046 Characters then the text arrived on my client(visual studio 2005) has the strukture of 2046 Character blocks that each ...

greetings all, I am looking at upgrading from my 1997 F150 with a 4.6L to a 04-06 F150 with the 5.4L. I am looking to find out if there were any modifications between these years. I understand that the 04 was the first year of the 3 valve engine and obviously the newer body style. Any problems with an 04 that were worked out in the next couple years. Any ...

I've been struggling with this for 2 days now. Just got a new machine with windows 7 professional on it. We have a number of classic asp applications that utilize business logic from a vb6 dll. I can debug and set breakpoints in the classic asp scripts but I can't step into the vb6 ide in order to debug my com object. I've installed vs2005 and the sp upgrade for vista and windows 7 I've ...

I just downloaded the source version of DNN 5.2. I am currently developing on Visual Studio 2005. When I tried to compile the DNN 5.2 library project, I got syntax errors. One of the errors happened in ModuleInfo.vb with this code: effectiveCacheMethod = (From provider In ModuleCache.ModuleCachingProvider.GetProviderList( ) _ Where ...

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so please switch this to a different one if needed. This was a big issue that we have with VS 2008. Most of our SQL Servers are SQL Server 2005. We can't upgrade servers everytime there is a new environment, so I'm not sure if we can move to 2010 because there is no way we are going to attempt to support VS 2005, VS 2008 and VS 2010.

I bought my '04 in Oct of '03. It's been the best truck that I've ever owned. The 3V 5.4 is strong. I tow a 25ft camper and also my car trailer with my Mustang on it from time to time."Effortless" The only problem that I had with mine was some hard shudder shifting habits from 1st-2nd that I thought were a problem but the dealer couldn't find anything wrong. Oddly the problem went away ...

Ugh... 2002LS vs. 2005ES. If it were 2004+ LS, I'd say no-brainer, go with the LS, but the 2005 ES was a very fine vehicle too, especially the interior. I think the ES330 was way better looking in and out than current ES350. With the LS, you're only about 30K from the 100K maintenance, which will run you probably $3000 with everything recommended (oil change, trans drain, timing belt, ...

There have been a variety of scenarios in which the designer keeps changing things around. Often it is related to either a third-party control being used or the layout options. I would recommend that you try loading the form in VS2008 and see if it still has the same problems. Michael Taylor - 12/22/09 http://p3net.mvps.org

Hi Deepakbv, We don't recommend you to open the projects developed in Visual Studio 2008 in Visual Studio 2005, it will cause some issues. If you really want to do this, you can see the article which Nikita gave. Modify .sln file Format Version 10.00 to 9.00, and you can open this solution file in Visual Studio 2005, but it does not mean it will build/run successful in Visual Studio 2005. For...

Hello TimTimon, Is Decimal type what you want? http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/364x0z75(V S.80).aspx For example: decimal a = 1.99999998m; decimal b = 0.000000000001m; Console.WriteLine("a+b={0}.", a+b) The result will display: a+b = 1.999999980001 Please have a try and let me know the result, Best regards
