i have apollo dvd copy and xilisoft dvd creator but neither can help me write my vob movie in a dvd-r..i don't think that apollo or xili are the problem.. they told me that i could write vob on dvd-r.. anyone knows what's wrong? should i buy RWs??? my pc doesn't accept the dvd-r and says i need to put an empty disc so i can proceed..am i doing something wrong? any help?

Hi as the title says, i have 2 .vob files ( films ) and can play them in VLC media player, however i would like to play them in W media player 11, is this possible. I have downloaded K lite codec pack, and re started my pc, this makes no difference, do i need to do something to the K lite package ? Please help me, i'm now getting fustrated. !

Hi All, I've some movies in .avi format, but want to burn them as DVD disc. So need to convert them into .VOB format. I've some softs, they are doing well, but increasing the size too big. suppose in .avi format 700 MB to .VOB format 2.5 GB!!! Even from .avi to .mpeg size also increasing too bigger!!! Advertisement Does anyone know how to rip subtitled VOB's ?? I am trying to rip the VOB's for Dead Snow which of course are subtitled, but I am unable to get the subs to actually show up on the ripped VOB. I tried both Smartripper and DVD Decrypter with same results. There might be a setting to do it in either software, but unfortunately I am not familiar ...

I've started converting my DVD library with AnyVideoConverter, but it's been taking between 8 to 11 hours to convert the VOB after I've extracted it with DVDshrink.
