procfs-style symlinks return a last_type of LAST_BIND without an actual path string. This causes __follow_link to skip calling __vfs_follow_link and so the dentry isn't revalidated. This is a problem when the link target sits on NFSv4 as it depends on the VFS to revalidate the dentry before using it on an open call. Ensure that this occurs by forcing a revalidation of the ...

Hello, I'm experimenting with Zabbix on Linux and having some difficulties with triggers on vfs.fs.size pused. I would like a trigger when a filesystem is filled for 80%. Now I get this trigger when a df shows 85% because of the 5% reserved blocks. Is there a workaround or patch so vfs.fs.size pused reads the same value as a df, ignoring the reserved blocks? Thanx

drm_ioctl is called with the Big Kernel Lock held, which shows up very high in statistics on vfs_ioctl. Moving the lock into the drm_ioctl function itself makes sure we blame the right subsystem and it gets us one step closer to eliminating the locked version of fops->ioctl. Since drm_ioctl does not require the lock itself, we only need to hold it while calling the specific...
