Being the old guy that I am, when I was in Nam, I used the original M16 & then the M16A1 neither of which obviously had VFG and we shot fine without them like all other soldiers before us. 1. So what has changed to need a VFG? 2. Someone like myself who now only uses my AR's for recreational shooting either at steel targets, paper, or some plinking games on my own property with family and ...

The BOD and EOD charts in my VFG (July 2 2007) are different to the AIP charts (AIP GEN 2.7). Probably not operationally significant but enough to give a wrong answer in the PPL exam (I noticed it while studying). The chart on p115 of my VFG is header BOD when it is actually an EOD chart. Anybody else got this error? Thanks Scott

The hand just encircles the grip, just as the rear hand does the pistol grip. This technique has practical uses, as in ...

I picked up a skirt suit tonight that is just beautiful! It is a very heavy wool and has this beautiful fur (?) on the collar and cuffs of the jacket. I have no idea what this fur would be? Also, I check the VFG for Lawson Original and did a Google search for it and cant find anything. Does anyone know anything about Lawson? This union label was used between 1955 - 1963, and I think ...

The MVF-515 http://www.crimsontrace.com/Home/Pro...3/Default.a spx Can be mounted to any rail, not just an AR. These are not even available on the market yet. I do field testing and consultation work for Crimson Trace, and I got the unit from them. Totally ambidextrous. Both the light and the laser have 3 different settings: momentary on, constant on and strobing. The light ...
