I've searched all over and can't seem to find the problem. I have a brand new Dell Vostro 1720 laptop and only use it for gigs. Internet is turned off, no programs running, and i have the latest DirectX and VDJ installed. It does it after about 1 hour of mixing the program will just freeze (sometimes up to half a minute) and then just starts right where it stopped. This has happened in the middle...

Hello guys, I am about to purchase some control vinyl for my technics 1210's and Virtual DJ 6.01 setup....NOW I am wondering, which would work better for scratching... I was just messing around with Ableton live, and it occured to me that you could probably feed another program into it, however I have no clue how. does anyone know how you can get Ableton to play sounds streaming from other programs?

@martin_2878 try first with vdj, before you start spending on gear.. based on what i saw, i think youll have slight difficulty using headphones and cueing in this product.. so an additional sound card will do the job just fine
