I usually clean my DVD writer with a cd cleaning disk. But how do i clean dvds and vcds? Especially when they damaged. I heard somebody said that dvds can be cleaned by washing with the water. Is it true? Or how can I clean them?

Just purchased a genuine VCDS cable fom Ross-tech and was looking forward to re-setting my longtitude sensor after having a new one fitted. Tried to log in (11) useing code 40168. Nothing. software just "hangs" waited 5 mins and still nothing. Every other part works but will not log in. Anyone got any ideas please? basser

Hi I can't adjust the time on the dash. I pull the pin and the time flashes and will cycle through time to date but twisting the pin will not change time. It was 10 mins fast and now it's 1hr 10 mins fast! I've looked in VCDS/VAgcom but can't see anyway of adjusting which surprised me. Has anyone used vagcom for this or know what the problem is? Dashpod is fine otherwise. Touch wood.

Hi There, I had my car for a few months already and had a MIL light that the dealer attributed to emissions issues, regens not completing or what not. I have since purchased a VCDS interface and would like to monitor regens etc. Anyone have information regarding what can be monitored on a 2009 jetta regarding the regen cycles with VCDS? Good news guys, I finally got the MFD to display the BT info. This is with a 2010 Tig SEL with the RNS510 (FW380 - HW02) & "C" version BT unit & white MFD. My original setting in module 77 (telephone) was 0011070, I changed this to 0013077 & presto it worked ! I tried other noted sugestions but they didn't work.
