We've all seen or heard of the mighty Xtracycle. I saw on a forum elsewhere recently where peeps have been home-building their own, using a second bike as a donor for the rear (seems like the rear triangle from a dual susser would work best). My questions are,had anyone here built something like this? If so,got pics, advice (for one contimplating building one),or tips? Thanks

My question is,has anyone on here done anything similar? If so,got pics/advice (for someone contemplating...

I have been researching utility bikes to carry my two daughters (6 and 8) and groceries/work stuff, etc.. I just want to replace the car if I can. Would a bicycle or tricycle be better for this kind of hauling? Why? Thanks for your help and/or opinions!
