Ladies, I need some advice, I can't talk to my doctor about this today since it's Saturday but I need to make a decision today about whether to try or not, so here's my story: I took Femara on cd 3-7, had spotting until cd 9, then I had my cd 12 ultrasound this morning, my follies were great, 17 and 20mm, but my lining was only 3.4!!! Does anyone have any experience with this? Either as a patient or medical professional? My friend was just diagnosed with a thick uterine lining and is now convinced she has cancer because that is all shecan find on the internet. I told her that if she had cancer the doctor she has been seeing for close to 15 years would get her in a lot sooner than 2 weeks from now. I worked in a GI office ...

I am a 57-year old female, who is approximately 70 lbs overweight. I just had in internal ultrasound which showed a 5 millimeter thickening of the lining of my uterus.
