Gee, been a fun day. Well, due to concerns from my Rad. Oncologist about how tender and sore I am becoming after 4 weeks of radiation, my Uro decided it would not be wise to do a hard dialation of my Bladder Neck. He said if I were that sore just from the radiation, then his procedure would just intensify the damage and increase my pain. He said we will have to delay it until at ...

Hey, I had a uro appt. today and felt like nothing was accomplished. I asked about the natural meds I've been researching that I've found on this site (Cystoprotek, aloe, etc.). She had never heard of them (and I had a list of about 7). I told her that I generally feel crummy right now, like I'm run down, etc...She said there is a psychological component to this disease, the unknown of waking ...

Hey Sanofi Uro rep here. Does anyone have any info from Lilly side on Cialis contract with Sanofi? My dm said the contract had not been signed yet. Big reorg coming here but not sure how Uro will be affected if any but I would guess alot has to do with what Lilly does. Thanks and good luck to all of you.

My name is May. The reptile love has been passed down to me from my family. Almost everyone has had a love for reptiles. My parents keep a whole lot and contribute to rescues. As for myself, I have an egyptian and a mali uro, two beardies, a blue tongue skink, 3 leos and a red footed tortoise.

Hello all, I don't post here often but I follow daily and I am in need of some advice. Our daughter is two and she had a lipomyelo and she is doing great. We have never had to cath but our recent uro appt did not go as well as hoped. Kate has had Grade II reflux on her left side since birth and we went for a VCUG and renal ultraousnd. The VCUG showed her reflux on the left now at grade III ...

In another thread, someone was talking about costs related to our journey. THis past week, got current data from my hospital and my uro/surgeon. The surgery fees just don't strike me as outrageous, its the hospital, should be criminal. In-office cystoscopy (scope) 400.00 My first corrective surgery (1/9) where they cut a slit at bladder neck/dialated Surgeons fee: 2,100...

Ed, I try to keep myself busy helping other people in my r/l, gives me some sense of purpose. It sucks too being out of work long term on top of the medical stuff, gives me too much time on my hand. Soon as I can get through this radiation and its aftermath, and hopefully be rid of a catheter for good, ,looking forward to geting real busy again with something. Right now, walking through Wal ...

I am so sorry you had to go through that! Definitely move on as fast as you can. I am sure you will find someone much more empathetic to what you are going through and who knows how to help. I miss tea too! It was practically 1/3 of my diet and camomile is a poor substitute. Lots of hugs! Liza
