Ok, not quite re-upholster, but I'm wanting to cover my VY fabric door inserts with "fur". Some of you may have seen the rest of my interior, check out my user page if you havn't and if you like the fur or not, doesn't matter. What I'm wanting to know is; has anyone done anything like this, as I'm chasing the correct high heat grade contact adhesive (in a spray can if possible) It's not vinyl,...

My girls 1998 4-Runner driver's seat is in desperate need of some help. The leather is all cracked and the foam is splitting. It is a powered, non-heated seat. Would it be cheaper to find a used seat or get the leather re-upholstered? Not much luck on eBay trying to find one and did some looking around on the web for other sources, without much success, either. You guys got any...

New to the forum. Hope my first post goes over well. I always wondered why most cars that I’ve had usually had lighter headliners than the rest of the car. This happens on a lot of newer model cars; for instance – on my 335i the interior was saddle Dakota on black trim and the headliner was grey…WTF??! – I bought my GS and the entire bottom half of the interior is super black and the upper ...

Questions about exterior mods: Paint rear valance. What do you think of the options mentioned above? A piece of plastic was chipped off of the rear valance. Do you think this can be filled, or would it look bad with time even if it was filled and painted etc? Paint front valance. Same as the above point, but the scuff on the front valance is minor compared to the one on the rear. How...

- audio and cruise control buttons on steering wheel aren't lighted. Not that big of a deal now that I'm used to them - the auto function of the headlights really should be the the last option on the knob, not the first so I can have select the parking light without hitting the auto first - the cloth used to upholster the seats isn't very durable or soft - a lot of low end torque = chew through ...

WT---K thinks it took about a week to make....but it could have been less because we told them we would be out of bkk for several days... not long....btw, i think it only cost $85 and that included the very heavy weight fabric we chose from them....a steal really... erica-- i think we have paid about 1/2 or less for the fabric as compared to usa prices....a real deal....K says it depends on ...

Thanks everyone for the great comments. The boat is back over at Pat's Fiberglass for a few additions. With the holidays progress is slow. I'm hoping to get it out of there after the middle of January. The engine hatch still needs to be made after the engine is dropped in. Swim step made. Don is taking me over to Hallet to check out their molds. I think they make one that will work. Then...
