prevent iTunes updates I am tired of iTunes constantly updating. I've turned OFF the update preferences in the preferences pane of iTunes. Yet it still tries to update. How can I disable iTunes updates?

scanner not accepted after originally working Ok and is thought updates may have corrupted scanner software. When reported to VEHO that service pack 3 was now installed they said this could be the problem. can you concur? 1 person needs an answer I do too

i cannot check for updates on any programs nor can i download any software updates ie antivius it just keeps giving me an oops link broken message 0x80072efd on windows defender when checking for updates i have tried to install loads of anti virus updates and cannot do this 1 person needs an answer I do too

This error occurs when I do any updates even trying to upload Internet explorer 8. I have had everything wiped out and reloaded and it still keepes happening . I have turned off the automatic updates and now I cannot turn off my computer without getting this error. I have no good restore points left. I have spent over $400 trying to fix this problem. I dont know much about computers, yesterday my computer automatically installed update, i have vista home premium. After the updates installed it all changed to windows classic style. i went to personalise to change to vista and recieved this message The visual styles cannot be applied. Wouls appreciate some help to get it back the way it was. thank you 1 person needs an answer I do too
