Thus, in a PowerPoint presentation with a URL link to the .swf file to play it, the file can't be found and opened. This only happens if you zip the .swf file. I have a file given to me by a friend - but I am leary of opening it for fear of getting a virus. Am I justified? What if I open it and run it through my anti-virus program? If it passes, would that assure safety? If not, is there another way to check the contents of the zip file for possible malware?

Hi, Some of my users faced problems when open .zip files via the [Compressed Folder] function of windows or using WinZip. The error prompted is access denied. However, the problem will not surface if I login the same computer via the Domain Administrator role. I've looked through my User GPO but didn't see anything suspicious. Need assistance... regards

Anyone have any ideas how to do this effectively. Also some of the file names are in japanese so handling of that would be nice, but unnecessary....

I am having trouble extracting .zip files to certain directories on Windows 7 (64bit). Some applications I have installed and want to unzip them inside a specific directory per instructions in the .zip. However, I have been getting a "Don't have permission" or "Can't create directory" error when I try. It happens on WinZip 14 and WinRAR both, so I know the zip program is not the cause. Also...
