Did anyone finished their interview with the UofMN yet? Mine is on the 20th and I'm kind of nervous. Share some tips please???? BTW, UofMn is my state school and I want to go there since my BF is in the medical school there too.

I was just curious in knowing how many internationals consider University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, given its: education quality, value, location etc.... Is UM-TC usually a school on a internation list? Questioning what are the popular schools usually on a international students list besides HSPY.

goes to Oberlin College, and the last goes to University of Illinois.. Say they all graduate with the same major and roughly the same GPA... Say they each apply to the same graduate schools, which one would have the strongest chance of getting admitted to the grad school of his/her choice?

I am a Wisconsin resident and i applied to the University of Minnesota CLA but i'm worried about whether or not i'll be accepted, I applied back in September & I haven't heard anything back from them. I have a 20 on the ACT and an 8 on the writing portion; which is the main reason i think i won't get accepted although i'm retaking it again in december My GPA is 3.5 and im in the top 17% ...

eau claire would be tough with a 20. their median score is a 24 and the word is it is only going to get tougher. I would retake the test. But the other schools seem like fine choices. Same for marquette, it would be tough to go there with a 20

Depends on the major. Engineering? U Illinois. Music? Oberlin. Etc. And you're making a big assumption - that it's all about GPA. That's not the only factor in grad school admissions. It's also about your GRE/LSAT/GMAT score, the strength of your personal statement and references, the strength of your experience and so on. It's quite possible that someone from U Minnesota could get in...
