With the buff to SS will there be a new rotation for Unholy? Since now it would seem that SS is in fact superior damage to a IT and PS in a rotation. Maybe even a tweak to current top dps talent spec's out there? Maybe 2/2 Epidemic to lengthen our rotation so as to fit in another SS/BS/BS then start the rotation over again? Alright, new patch and it doesn't seem unholy is worse, just different. Anyone mind sharing a new spec that seems to be popular? Anything would be appreciated. Feel free to talk about alternative specs or anything concerning DK pvp and how you think it is going to work out in this patch.

with the change to unholy i hope some1 can answer a couple questions. did bone shield get a duration increase to 5min? i did not see it in the notes is there anyway to get necrosis into the new unholy build by losing a couple points in crit and bladed armor or is it just not worth it? the glyph of icy touch does that also increase the damage of frost fever or just the base damage of the ...

I see the buffs to unholy, and the changes in scourge strike. Is it going to be a fact that unholy is going to do better on single target damage compared to blood now in the raiding environment? I can't seem to find a number crunch to confirm or deny.

has anyone done a 50/0/21 talent spec and picked up unholy blight instead of the dancing rune weapon? (and making the assumption you also picked up sudden boom and maybe the unholy blight glyph). Were you pleased with the results or did you feel you lost too much burst ability? Thanks.

I dont main a death knight, I just recently made one who is in the low 60's but I wanted to go unholy just for fun, I did notice in the patch notes that the unholy blight is being nerfed by 10%, it doesnt make sense to me because at level 58 it was doing ~8 dps, which to me makes blood still superior, this I dont like, is there a reason why its getting nerfed that I missed?

Man I miss the old AoE version of this spell - the single target Death Coil Buff version we've been living with for a while now really doesn't sit well with me. It used to feel like a class defining talent (unholy spec, anyway). It used to feel cool . Now it's anything but. I don't know, I guess there's not much to discuss here, just sort of lamenting a change I've never liked.
