Does anyone know if their is a way of doing what I call financial overlining and underlining in a set of accounts. What I ideally would like is a single overline and a double underline in selected cells which extends to the length of the number in that cell. The only way I can do it is to draw lines in the cell but that has the disadvantage of not being very portable and the ...

No. I am trying to sense the underlining thinking of the Street is? 'Just sign the d'mn contract and we will reward you' since you are only 1/75th of the market cap compares to QCOM? 'Maybe then we will look at whatever else you got?' that kind of thought!

In the past, whenever a document has had columns of dollar amounts and totals, I've always placed a narrow-width column between each regular column so that when underlining the cells above the "Total," in each column, it would not appear as one straight line spanning several columns. However, I've just taken over a long document from someone else who has underlined the last items in...

Hi, I have a simple display problem which is frustrating me... I've created a website with a list of hyperlinks across the top of the page, under the banner. These are NOT underlined and display correctly in IE, but in Firefox they appear underlined. Its a minor problem, I admit, but is spoiling the design of the page as far as I'm concerned! I designed the website in Frontpage2003. Here is the ...

Hello, I created a string. The string represents the fieldname of a field I want to print out. It is not a label. I went to know how to highlight or bold the string. For example, my string is this Dim thisString as string ="Elephant Tails:" Dim field(0) as string = "Appalachian Mountain" I want to print this out in a textbox on a form and have the thisString part highlighted. I want it ...

They get points for trying to give a faithful adaption, but the changes hurt the underlining story ( the father was more flawed in the book and needed the boy for his moral compass , etc). Great cinematography but so so direction. Why on earth was this film delayed? If they were looking for the best opportunistic chance to get nominations , they really blew it.

When writing about an image that I have uploaded, it would be nice to have some very basic word processing tools such as underlining and spacing. I tend to write quite a lot under each photograph, so being able to cut and paste words or paragraphs would be good. The facility that I would really like (the word "really" should have been underlined!) is to have the ability to ...

I am selling my american heritage textbook. I used it this semester. There is no writing in it, but there is underlining on a few pages. I can include my chapter outlines also if you want. There's about 30 pages worth. You definitely need to buy the book if you want to get a passing grade in this class. Read more...
