( Anyone with an RNY have an ulcer? How did you know you had one? How did they treat it? I have always had problems with acid production and have taken Nexium for years. I went off these and started Prevacid fast tabs after the RNY and only took them when I needed them after a few months post-op. I am now back on the Nexium - sometimes 2 a day - and am having discomfort after eating - ...

Hello All- I took my dog, Oxford, to the vet about a week ago because it was obvious there was something wrong with her eye. Found out she has a corneal ulcer. He gave me two eye ointments to use: Atropine sulfate and Chlorenphenicol. I've been applying the Atropine two times a day and the other one 3 times. Her eye doesnt seem any better. In fact, it seems a little worse. She keeps it shut...

Never had one before, but I looked up my symptoms on Web MD, and everyone of them I have.. I am going to go to the Dr. as soon as I can, but until then, I was wondering, any of you have had Ulcers? Should I be worried? I'm kinda freaking out about it, but have been trying not to cause more stress on myself. Any input will be appriciated! TIA!

Hi I was just wondering what causes ulcers in horses? I know in humans it is a bacterial infection of H. pylori bacteria and that most of the human population carries this bacteria in their gut. Depending on the strain of the bacteria and the pathogenicity island it carries will determine the virulence factors the strain can carry and will determine if an ulcer is formed. Is ulcer formation in ...

While I sit and watch yet another "Do or Die" two-week period... (We've had these exciting weeks before...) Jack, I've outlived my father by 6 years and my mother by 2 whole months, thanks to a CABG procedure last March. It does not mean I cured an ulcer drinking CABBAGE juice -- as is claimed by the raw juice believers -- but that I had a coronary artery bypass graft. My life is artificially ...

i have a stomach ulcer and it makes strange deep gurgling sounds, eerily similar to that of the smoke moster when it slowly advances on someone with that low sustained growl. just thought i'd throw that out there.

Well, I figured I would give an update on red's eye. So far so good. Ive been applying the terramycin to her eye. Her swelling has gone down to mere puffiness, and the weeping she was doing dwindled down to nothing so far. Drainage pretty much gone. The corneal ulcer is still there but is clearing up, tarted off all over her eye, then started clearing up when I started the terramycin, her eye...
