Interesting... thanks for the pointer. I've been a member of sdf for quite some time now - years I guess, and I use it once in a while to test network connectivity and such. There is a uucp user in a cpanel server. But it should not have root. type pico /etc/passwd the hit ctrl w and enter uucp you should see. uucp:x:10:14:uucp:/var/spool/uucp:/sbin/nologin If there is another uucps with a line like uucps:x:0:0:uucps:/uucps:/bin/bash Then you are rooted and better start backing up and do an OS reload. Any users in /home named uucps?

Also es war ein Rechteproblem der User uucp hatte kein Homeverzeichnis und keinen Zugriff auf /tmp. Somit chmod 1777 auf das /tmp angewendet und Homeverzeichnis angelegt mit symlink auf /var/spool/hylafax- Des Weiteren noch in /etc/nullmailer/adminaddr die Mailaddy raus genommen und siehe da es geht.
