I'm using a Linksys wireless - G Router. Model: WRT54G and (unfortunately) a USB wireless adapter. It's a Samsung SWL-2300U on Windows XP SP3. I haven't been able to get any ports to open up properly using Utorrent with my wireless connection. It's a very strange situation for several reasons. My uploading speed in uTorrent is miserable at 20-200kb. Can someone help? I tried all kinds of uTorrent settings optimization guides I read on the net, but to no avail. Please help me.

i have alays used utorrent without any issues until now, when i download latest one, i get the usual messages then when it comes to running the program nothing happens i cant fid where the program downloads to, can anyone help me!!!!!!!!!! ok i have just reinstalled my avg security on laptop and utorrent has now installed Last edited by markm9 (Today 04:09:43)

Hi there, I've had utorrent up and running until I received te error: 'access denied' on every download I started... no matter what trackers/peers... Speed wasn't always great, probably caused by an orange triangle in the statusbar. This was caused by numerous completed downloads that weren't seedable (turned red). Following are my details, 1. I have a very good connection (2Mbps line) can download rapidshare 100MB file in 12-14 mins, 2. Hi, long time utorrent user I recently got a new ISP so i set up my old home network again. Im not exactly sure what the issue is, however i cannot use the internet and have utorrent on at the same time. I at 1st thought it was my ISP so i just started using some proxies. The proxy worked just fine however that just seemed like a stall tactic and not a solution as to what the actual issue ...

any idea why one tracker would stop working with utorrent. it works fine for other users on the tracker. i started using another client and it works fine. i uninstalled and removed all utorrent data and started from scratch yet the problem still occurs. Hi, I'm using win7 x64 and Utorrent 1.8.4. Lately my uploads start up fine, then drops to almost zero in a few minutes. If I enter options - preferences - connections and choose another listening port, the upload start up again with good speed. Then after just minutes, it drops again. If I choose (randomize) another port, the upload is running again. And so on..... Anyone who can help me with...

if i close utorrent does it first update the trackers on what sent or i loose everything that was sent since last update? if it's not it a problem because each torrent has it own updating time and i can't wait forever when i want to close the software to restart the computer and etc. thanks in advance.

I have comcast and I see the effects of speedboost when I start up utorrent for the first time. I believe I'm under comcast's 8/2 plan and when I first start up utorrent I get download speeds of about 1.5mb/s and uploads speeds of 500kb/s, which is clearly the speedboost in effect. From a little googling I found other people already trying to work on this, but those topics were from 2007. ...

So, there is a compatibility problem between avast and utorrent that slows down my computer (98% CPU usage) and freeze it 2 times in 2 minutes for 3 seconds. some people told me that utorrent use his own antivirus : P2P Shield ,and that this is the problem where can i dezactivate it and how ?
