I have a pretty simple question. What does the "soft limiter" 250 rpms before your set limiter actually do? This UTEC is hardwired into a 2003 Maxima if you guys are wondering. I have my limiter set to 7200 right now, but considering the soft limiter, I am guessing that realistically means I can only make power to 6950. So Aaron and I have been talking, and we have been having the exact same problem with our UTECs. Any time the UTEC itself is cold (45 degrees or less), we get a random/occasional misfire that is just like pulling a coil plug then plugging it back in. Used Utec for sale. Just took it off my car. I have the Map Selector and Map Sensor cables. The UTEC has the 2.8 software loaded on it. $540 for both the Utec and Map Sensor.
