I have a WD external 2.5" drive that has stopped working (it disappeared from Explorer the other day). Hi, My laptop died a few weeks ago, so I've since bought a new PC and a 2.5 inch IDE enclosure for the HD from my laptop. I think the disk should be okay, as it was power issues along with a lot of wear and tear that saw the end of my laptop. Anyway, I plug the enclosure into my PC, however I can't get it to work. I've tried it on 3 different machines... Two of these are running XP....

Hi all, I'm looking to purchase a USB HD enclosure that automatically supports RAID 1 for data redundancy. I'm hoping to spend as little as possible, and am willing to trade HD space for cheapness.
