2006 Mount Eden Chardonnay Edna Valley Wolff Vineyard popped a little too cold so didn't initially show much on the nose, but eventually opened to reveal apple pie & pear notes... creamy and oaked on the palate, medium bodied & viscous with sweet sugar coated green apples turning spicy and nuanced with vanilla bean on the finish, a touch of pepper... a pleasant drink with a mild cheddar and ...

I was indeed referring to the Newton. Had it by itelf after a dinner which had some steak tips in a spicy southwestern marinade from a local butcher shop. It's possible my tastes were affected by the spices but the sulpher was too much for me. I have a couple more I'll try soon, hopefully, as Board-O said, it was just a bad bottle. This is usually one of our favorite Cali chards and I was ...

Just got the PSW505 and I need help setting it up. That's right, I know nothing! I can use either the LFE or the R/L plug. As I understand it, if I use the LFE, all of the settings for the subwoofer are controlled by my receiver (Sony STRDG820 7.1). If I use the R/L plugs, I control the subwoofer with the controls on the back of the subwoofer. First, am I correct? Second, ...

In my big worksheet after filtered, some columns takes longer than other for the dropdown list to appear. There is one very slow. I unfiltered the worksheet and filtered again and the problem continues. What could cause this issue? XL 2007, XP. THANKS

On the one hand we are now able to share unfiltered information at lightening speed. You can share your opinion with the world without mainstream media censoring it. On the other hand, anything posted on the internet (by you or others) is there forever! Perhaps you're less likely to let loose at a party out of fear pictures or video will appear online - whether it's a harmless act like singing ...

Hi Lynda, Can you tell me which brand and wattage heaters you use for your unfiltered 5 gallon tanks? I keep buying the wrong ones. First I bought a hydor mini, which uses no settings, just heats it up to 4 degrees above the ambient temp! That one was a mistake...Then, I JUST bought a Hydor Theo, which is supposed to keep it at the exact setting you set it to...well, my temp dropped 2 degrees...

Memetic Surgeons: In your response to this thread, please notice how you refine and in some ways censor your inntial thought before you click POST. Would it be an act of bravery or stupidity to publicly display naked, raw thoughts as they occur? An act of selfishness.....

In the unfiltered world, I've been able to have a beer ready in 9 days....I'm not proud of that fact however, but the final beer - a stout was very drinkable. My thought is that for extreme taste beers such as a stout (and dark at that so no one can see haze), it is doable. For a standard pale ale, I'd wager against, and for a standard lager - 3 weeks minimum.

It's even more silly, because they're obviously trying to filter out "d-i-k-e" (slang for lesbian) and not the proper name "D-y-k-e" (or Dyk, in its proper Dutch spelling).
