What are my chances of me going to UC R? (I am Korean). My gpa from 9-11th grade is 3.02... percentile 64%(omg terrible) and gpa from 10-11th grade is 3.475 i got bout 80 hours of community service but i was never involved with clubs and school activities.. i want to get into UC R for computer science or computer engineering.. oh and i got 1810 on my SAT, 800 Sat2 korean, and gonna take Math ...

I don't think race is an important factor in choosing here. My stats were much lower than that and I got accepted, not counting where the state budget cuts already started.

So there is a board game store near me, that is with in about 10 to 15 minutes a drive from where I live in Riverside (near the UCR). Dose some one know the name of the store? PS. I am not thinking of the Adventurers Guild, though that is a good store as well this one is on the way Rubido, some where off the 60 freeway...the area is well developed and there is a big theater on the same street.

Some schools have events where famous (or at least semi-famous) musical acts come to perform. Is there some sort of annual festival that UCSC has? I know UCSB has Extravaganza, UCI has Shocktober, and UCR has Block Party. I haven't heard of anything, and it'd be really cool if we did have something like that.

My enrollment appoinment is Dec 2. Who knows how to make an appoinment to see the counselor? I need the counselor make a class schedule to me. Also, I am a transfer student, Should I need to take a orientation? I checked the UCR website, the orientation date is Dec 3.
