It has STOPPED for now! I can breathe a sigh of relief (although I probably just jinxed myself) It went off a few more times last night and then IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!! It's driving me and all the neighbors crazy. I talked to my next door neighbor who works from home and she said it was on and off all day long. It was even on when I got home from work today! Le sigh - my town is very ...

So we are "this close" to losing it! I cannot even deal. I asked for an extension on my closing date since I was out for pretty much 3 weeks, due to my gma's illness and death. EVERYDAY I get a call asking if we have the mortgage yet. EVERYDAY I tell them, I need more time, I was not able to provide all my paperwork to the mortgage guy until last week. Well, according to the original contract, we...

So after I posted yesterday about how the bank was sitting on my offer I got good news. My agent called and said they approved the offer...partially! They questioned the closing cost we asked for and thought that we were trying to get them to buy down the rates (which we are not). My agent faxed over the good faith estimate and now we have to wait again. Once they approve the closing cost, WE ...

Guys, we're all missing the point here. They both care deeply about each other, and that's a fact! Now, I think the real question is why they won't get together. At which ...

Thursday, September 4th, 2008 Dear Energy and Capital Reader, Of all the issues we cover here, nuclear power is the one that seems tobe the most controversial. Either you love it or you hate it. There is no real in between. But no matter how you may feel about it, one thing is for certain: The Nuclear Revival is No Myth . Not surprisingly, China is leading the way. In fact, China ...

Last night started off as a good night. A friend of a friend is undergoing cancer treatment and there was a dinner party for him last night. Over 50 attended and well to keep this part of the story short it was touching. So a few of us decide to head out afterwards. Hit JJ's and shoot the shit amongst ourselves and then watch the band for a little while. We head out as we all wanted an ...
