I am looking for a credit card that has the lowest fees for U.S dollar transaction purchases. These are large volume business purchases and I am currnetly paying a 2% fee for each transaction. Is there any card with less % fee that still earns reward points?

Well, the shoulder season is still here, 65* yesterday and I needed to do something constructive rather then look at a cold stove and JETS football. So, I performed the dollar bill test on the old 2 door castine. Each door was tested with the bill in 4 differnt locations. Only 1 of the 8 areas was a little less the very tight. With this in mind I guess I won’t replace door gaskets until maybe ...

I'm not an economist so bear with me. I'm planning a trip to Europe and am frustrated (nearly to the point of sadness) to find out that the exchange rate is .67 Euros to 1.00 USD. I recently read that the U.S can increase the value of the dollar and savings rate by increasing the interest rate which currently at 0%. Why isn't the government taking proactive steps to raise the value of the...

"The U. S. Dollar, starting about now, may actually rally right up to the mid term elections in November 2010" http://www.kitco.com/ind/rosen/oct192009.html "Confirmation of the new high in gold is missing. If gold were beginning a new bull surge we should expect the Dollar Index to be making a new low or close to making a new low and the gold share indexes, the HUI, and the XAU close to making ...

When you are the only one on a public message board who is bullish on the U$ Dollar does that mean something? Out of all the "Billions and Billions" of people bearish the Dollar does a bull have a chance? Hmmm...I wonder.

I change all my dollars up front before leaving the US. I don't want to be watched (and maybe robbed?) withdrawing money from a foreign ATM. Also ATMs can malfunction and steal your card; now you must interrupt your enjoyment and hassle with a bank manager, the next day, whose English may be lacking. Who needs headaches?! By changing all at once, it's one less thing to fret about after arrival....

It doesn't really matter where you have them changed as they will all have the same exchange rate since the latter is fixed by government. If you can get a better rate before you arrive in China then by all means go for it. Take note however that when you fly home, you could only change them back into dollars at the airport money changer. If you want to avoid this hassle as the queue can be ...
