trade nate to chicago for tyrus thomas straight up. the contracts match up and if it doesnt work out thomas can walk next year. then trade lee to portland for bayless and joel przybilla. bayless can be a possible pg of the future and przybilla is a 7 footer who can give us size and his contract runs out at the end of the year so it wont affect 2010.

Lopez would have not got all those easy put backs and shots with thomas coming over to help out he is not a good one on one defender but he is great at help defense and his length and jumping ablitly make teams shoot horrible shots when he is in there. and way to pass on Blair bulls cuz james jhonson looks lost out there and his part in his head is ridcoulous i would fine him for tht some body ...

Apparently, the Bulls are trying to unload Tyrus to a different team for reasons, it has been said by ESPN NBA Anylsist. Many believe it will be New York for Al Harrington, considering the Bulls need some offence because they are 28th in the NBA in scoring. I think this is amazing for the koncks because if this kid develops into his full potiental http://nba.fanhouse.com/2009/12/04/tyrus-...

Salutations knick fans......I must say, I've been wanting to speak on this since I first read the news on Hoopshype.com, but a hectic weekend had me occupied. I've read numerous posts on here with many expressing their like or dislike of #24. I, for one have been a advocate of this kid for quite some time. We can go into the negatives, but I've seen most of you already outline the obvious(size ...

Tyrus Thomas Ok it looks like he will be dealt but the guys in the post game brought up a good point. Do you trade thomas right away to the Knicks for Harrington? Or Do you wait and see if a Bosh, Amare, or someone that would be a long term fix to be available closer to the trade deadline? I want something to happen ...

tyrus has talent he needs the minutes. bulls management sucks. vdn rotations are terrible. i agree with b2ball, we will win when he comes back. hes the type of player whose influence doesn't show up in the stats. its just the factor that he has being out there. everyone is just ignorant to it bc he takes some bad shots. well ya thats how u learn to play the game. guaranteed we wouldnt be losing ...

But who's to say the bulls scoring wouldn't improve with Ty in the lineup? He's not as reliable of a scorer as harrington, and he certainly doesn't have the range, but before ty went down, the bulls were playing pretty good defense. Ty starting, and Gibson off the bench would help a little as opposed to the problem we have now we only play Noah, Miller and Gibson. I think my main worry ...

Knicks may as well do it because they could use some defense more so than offense and they both expire at the end of the year anyways. The Bulls could use a PF who can score (even if it's not necessarily post scoring) and they're desperately in need of some outside shooting. Thomas and James weren't playing anyways, I don't see why they shouldn't give it a shot.

Yes, Jefferson's a beast on the paint. No, he's better than Gooden, Harrington can score, just as long as people don't think he's a low post scorer, he's not. Like I said, I don't mind the trade if it's for cap relief and the Bulls are going to go after 2 prize FA's. They'll have the money to do so.

Re: Tyrus Thomas for Al Harrington? Thats a terrible rumor. Harrington is the equivalent of Joakims balls. We need guard depth, not trading Tyrus for a 1 year rental.
