So I gotta 1979 Jeep Cherokee and since I bought it the break lights and turn signals don't work. Wiring looks to be all intact. Traced it from the rear to where it goes through the firewall. I will try to keep this short. I just replaced the heater core in under four hours. everything works except the turn signals. The hazards work, Brake lights work. windsheild wipers work. highbeams work. but no turn signals. I also can not find any blown fuses. Could I have pulled a ground loose or something like that. Turn Signals not working I did a short search but im late for work so if its already answered my bad.. My brake lights work but when I use left or right signal i get nothing.. the tick goes faster then normal as well. Fuse? They are stock bulbs and like i said they do light up on brake....

Hey guys(and ladies) I have a turn signal problem in my 92 vert. My turn signals arn't working on the inside or the outside(blinking,flashing), BUT all 6 lights are on outside when i turn the headlights on. So in other words no bulbs are out and i checked all the fuses and none wore blown. So im thinking its internal in the column??any ideas,tips and input would be greatly appreciated. Oh,but ...

Im gonna be getting JDM amber turn signals by christmas or before. Im just wondering is this a simple project, just take the old ones out and the new ones just go right in? Is there any troubling issues? And i know nick will probably read this so if i have problems nick could you help me since you arent to far from me?

Now I didn't break the second one. Well, not as much as the first one. But in any case, both of my front turn signals have pretty much disintegrated around the part that the screws grab on to. Is this typical? Is there an LED drop in equivalent that replaces the amber lens and 21/5 bulb but uses the original chrome pieces?
