If I install a program and failed , and do not appear in add/remove programs how uninstall ? Is it good idea try install in same folder ? By this files will get overrided ? 1 person needs an answer I do too

I did a full system scan with Windows Defender and I now have no desktop image or icons. When I try to turn the desktop display back on, it says to contact the "system administrator." How can I fix this? 1 person needs an answer I do too

When I enter my Window XP password the program begins, then flashes my desk top with no icons then automatically logs off. I have tried turning it off and on and the more often I try to logon the faster it responds by logging off. 1 person needs an answer I do too

Windows is telling me that my product key is already in use when I try to activate. My product key is 100% legit. My Vista came with my new computer I got about thirteen months ago, so my product key in on a sticker that's stuck on my computer case. That's the key I'm trying to use. OS is windows 7 and I have the latest version of windows live messenger. I have IE8 but everytime I try to install an emotion or wink etc it tells me I must have IE6 or above which I do. How do I fix this? I have tried the AU String add on but that didn't work 1 person got this answer I do too
