Guardian article: "No one trusts bankers any more. That's hardly a surprise." They destroyed the livelihood of millions with their greed but feel no shame. Now they're even less trusted than journalists - and that's saying something. Read all here: http://www.guardian....or-bank-charges This post has been edited by eric pebble : Today, 01:13 AM...

I am optimistic about the Lehman Capital Trusts. I do own some LEHPQ's and some LEHJQ's to flip. It is much too dangerous to try flipping the CT's due to the spread and limited quanities remaining. I think the glass is half full and will only trust going down to the wire with the CT's. I am only optimistic about the CIT preferreds if they go on a major sale at the end of the year. Last year I ...

I have several forests with the same domain componants in the last two dc of the name space, how will this effect Trusts? I need to create trusts between several domains that share the name space, after setting them up in a test environment, I do not feel they will remain stable. Is the trust based on Netbios naming of the domain only? If so then the SID should keep everything seperate.

the facts are that no one at FPFX had any control whatsoever over the securitization trusts held by USB nor over the bankruptcy trustee. See if those facts corresond to the following. If not tell me what facts you have that show they did have such control over those 2 independent entities? Just the facts, remember... needless to say, all the conclusions in the following (as to who was ...

As I have mentioned before. Manulife continues to be in rough times largely because of their annuity business. One of the major reasons they were one of the key players in the destruction of the trusts so they could sell their annuities. The irony is in the future they may not be able to generate the returns they need without the trusts. Peter Posted: November 19, 2009, 11:06 AM...

According to trustnet POG.L was in the top 10 holdings of JPM Natural Resources, and Investsec Global Gold unit trusts as at 31/10/09. Maybe not so far off the radar now ?

Before getting into too much detail- Is it possible that my samba PDC server is trying to treat the Windows PDC as an active directory domain controller (which of course it is) rather than a Windows NT4 server (which it should be emulating)? Would be it easier to setup a kerberos trust between my Samba server and the Windows Active Directory Maybe this will help isolate ...

I currently have all my share ISAs with TD Waterhouse and they are currently about 75% invested in high yield shares. I'm considering tuning my overall asset allocation and it's very possible that in the future, due to wanting to add new asset classes that I don't have the time or inclination to research down to the individual holding level, I am likely to want to make more use of ...

When establishing a funeral trust, is the bank required to obtain a signature by the owner of the funds on the signature card in areas other than the TIN identification?

Researchers have found several security holes in popular Firefox extensions that have an estimated total of 30 million downloads from AMO (the Addons Mozilla community site). Three 0-days were also released. Mozilla doesn't have a security model for extensions and Firefox fully trusts the code of the extensions. There are no security boundaries between extensions and, to make things even worse, ...

I have never tried "unjoining" a domain. I think the approach would be to 1- update smb.conf to change security to user 2 - delete the SambaMachine account from your Windows PDC. You can't me in more than one domain. however you can set up trusts between windows and/or samba domains. (Although I haven't quite got that working properly.) -Damian On 11/18...
