So Im now getting back into this with having a 10yr. break. I am about to start up the truggy for the first time and after reading the manual about break in procedure, it says minimal to none? Now that just dosent make sense. What is the best way to get optimal performance and life out of this motor? ive read acuple of break in cycles for race engines to run 2-3 min and shut off 9 times. I messed up and bought a lot of tires for 1/8th scale truggy when I needed buggy... (my bad) now to try and sell these . These are 4 pairs of truggy tires mounted on yellow dish rims. 2 pairs of pro-line crime fighters and 2 pairs of pro-line bow ties. I have a 83 toyota truggy and it needs to replace the drive shafts. i want to use square tubing and what is recommended for the end mounts and how much needs to fit inside the outter tube ? what length? need help with drive shaft fabrication questions. also is the square trailer hitch 2 inch a good size ? any suggestions ?
