-Uninstalled HD Audio Driver from CP -Reinstalled via the automatic recognition of W7 during start up -Ran troubleshooter with result "cannot identify problem" -No music or windows sounds of any sort at any time. 1 person needs an answer I do too

Windows 7, clean install. I am getting the error when trying to use several of the troubleshooters: ie like the Windows Update or networking. "An error occured while troubleshooting: A problem is preventing the troubleshooter from starting." Any ideas on how to correct this? Is a service not started or something?

Did everything the troubleshooter said. Shutdown all my services but vital the Micrsoft ones. Restarted and tryed time and time again. Also uninstalled AVG virus protection software. I have run into a little problem trying to local network my new wireless windows 7 laptop to My ethernet wired XP pro pc. The two computers do not recognize each other even though they have the same workgroup name. Windows 7 troubleshooter mentions that Windows firewall automatically recognizes but since I am using a non windows firewall (Kaspersky) I may have a compatability problem....

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 7 my internet connection keeps getting dropped whenever I do something with a lot of bandwidth such as a video or online game.
