Find the number of distinct triangulations of the following polygons: a) Polygon P contain n+3 vertices V0=(0,0) V1=(1,0) ...Vn=(n,0) Vn+1=(1,1) and Vn+2=(0,1) labeled in the counter-clockwise order. b)Polygon P contain n+4 vertices V0=(0,0) V1=(1,0) ...Vn=(n,0) Vn+1=(2,1) and Vn+2=(1,1) Vn+3=(0,1)labeled in the counter-clockwise order. c)Polygon P contain n+5 vertices V0=(0,0) V1=(1,0) ...Vn=(...

You want to count up the number of nondegenerate triangles, I take it. This means you want the number of ways to choose a set of three noncollinear points. In cases a, b, and c, the set of points are arranged on one of either two parallel lines: y=0 or y=1. So the only way to get three collinear points is to have them all be on the same line. So count up the number of ways to choose a set of ...

I saw the backstage of this very cool ad: http://www.boardsmag.com/screeningroom/tvfilm/8445 I'm very interested in this motion tracking technique... but cannot find any piece of information... does anyone know something about it? Looks like Boujou, Syntheyes, PfTrack and friends would become almost useless...

This is onestly the first time that I get in touch with different tecniques of 3D Motion Tracking than Boujou, Syntheye etcetera... I'm very interested in... It's by the way a hard subject... I understand the theory behind it but can't still find sufficient informations on the net... Btw all of your anwers are appreciated

I DON'T KNOW IF THESE PEOPLE ARE KOSHER. They have just been covered on the watt science blog. (Copenhagen, Denmark, December 16, 2009) Global warming skeptics from CFACT yesterday pulled off an international climate caper using GPS triangulation from Greenpeace's own on board camera photos to locate and sail up long side of the infamous Greenpeace vessel, Rainbow Warrior. ...

This GPS location finder saves the coordinates of a location, then uses satellite triangulation to guide you back to that location. It is most useful for finding your way back to your car, hotel, or camp. Location Finder: With eight LEDs, this GPS receiver directs you to reach the position you have saved, such as car position, or hotel position. Searching your favorite location, you ...

I'm in the midst of building a long arm 3-Link for the front of my XJ and wondering about my suspension geometry. I have built some triangulation into the lower control arms and now after thinking about it, my track bar is going to want to move the axle left and right as it moves up and down. If i am correct the lower control arms will want to oppose this left to right motion because of the ...

http://www.answers.com/topic/triangulation 1. 1. A surveying technique in which a region is divided into a series of triangular elements based on a line of known length so that accurate measurements of distances and directions may be made by the application of trigonometry. 2. The network of triangles so laid out. 2. The location of an unknown point, as in navigation,...
