Hi all, My wife and I are native Tri-Cities residents....born in Kennewick, and graduating from Kamiakin. Both of us quickly moved away from there to go to college and beyond (we could NOT wait to get out of TC, as many natives seem to get that itch). Anyways, after being gone for 15 years now we're ready to move back. I have to admit we're both homesick....(which is very surprising. ...

Anyone from around that area? I will be moving up that way after the 1st of the year. Got a new job there and I am curious about the area and wood dealers. I will be having time FINALLY to get back into wood.
Is anyone on City Data currently living in the tri-cities (Petersburg/Colonial Heights/Hopewell)? While part of the Richmond MSA, you rarely hear/read much about the Tri-Cities on CD relative to discussions of Richmond. With the coming Fort Lee development, Rolls-Royce, etc. it seems there would be much more discussion about that area. Am I alone in thinking that the Tri-Cities needs to...

I went to Wal-Mart for Snow Chains today since I'm going to be making a trek up to Maryland tomorrow. I managed to (barely) make it back before I slid my Integra onto my lawn and got it stuck there The snow plow came by 10 min later. My timing never works out!! I must say though everyone I have encountered out driving today has been doing it responsibly, taking it slow and showing ...

Everyone, your snow pics are absolutely beautiful but I am now freezing and ready for some hot chocolate just looking at them. LOL I'd either be looking for the closest sledding hill or curled up in front of a fire in my fireplace!

I've been here almost 2 years now, moving from a place with top of the line, world class medical facilities. My impression of health care here so far: Family medicine: mixed, my own doctor is just ok, I go there more for convenience than anything else. They've got an attached urgent care facility that has longer hours so I can get it for acute care with no problems. And the office is ...

That's why I say that the people who're shaping downtown have no idea what's going on. Tons of regular workers are leaving downtown with the relocation of government offices/Downtown Centre and the Specialty Hospital.

I live in the Tri-Cities. As far has woodworking goes there is a Western Tool, Myline power tool, they have the best selection of woodworking stuff around here. There is Whites unfinished furniture for wood. A guy advertise in the Gaint Nickel for hardwoods but I have never called to see what he has. I like Windsor Plywood in Spokane. Stacey

That is all too true-although how many had no snow tires on and thought that because they maybe had 4wdrive, they could drive through anything. All the cars I saw in the ditch were SUVs yesterday.
