Do you mean a Patrick Eggle LA Plus? If so, the luthier I use built most of the top-end Eggle's in the 90s, and he knows Trevor quite well. From memory, moving the arm itself turns an internal collar, which then locks the trem. It only worked if the trem itself was flat, and almost resting on the collar when unlocked, but if an average Joe has reset it then he wouldn't have known of ...

I just got a mesa boogie trem-o-verb and I have a couple of questions. How do you make it 50 watts instead of 100 watts? I don't know anything about effects loops, except that they're supposedly good. How would you suggest I set my effects up in the loop? (Assuming I don't put all of them in it) This is the order: guitar->dunlop wah->small stone phaser->big muff fuzz->boss ...

Thanx Tackleberry. You gave me the idea to check out a Squier trem as a possible replacement. The block was a fit, but the plate was still the 10.5mm spacing. I managed to get 4 of the existing fixing holes to line up, then filled and re-drilled the remaining 2 as suggested by TomR. Curiously, I checked out an old Encore strat guitar in my loft which I purchased in about 1993. That ...

I'm buying a Squier Jagmaster soon, and as you may know, Jagmasters have the Strat trem. I've never owned a guitar with a strat trem, or any trem for that matter. I was wondering if there's a way to lock the trem so it'll divebomb but not do anything else, and if so, how. Thanks!

Hey guys, There was a thread here about converting a vintage trem to a two point. I cant find it. Anyone know what I'm referring to? If not, do you have any tips. I doweled the six trem holes and it looks pretty straight forward on where I should drill the new posts. Any tips would be great. P

I used to have the 1x10 vox cambridge for this line, and it was a great amp... except that it used 2 footswitches #1= trem/channel #2= reverb/boost which was kind of a pain for gigging does the pathfinder 15r have both reverb and trem on the footswitch?

Well I just picked it up. It is fully functional and seems fine. The tubes will probly need to be replaced soon. It is a little beat up, but not terribly.

To keep from losing the little spring [since it can just fall out when the arm is not in the trem], i found a flat small round magnet about 3/4" in diameter. After removing the arm, if you put this magnet over the hole, then you won't lose the spring when you put the guitar in the case, for example.
