'6% balance transfer rate for the life of the balance'. I took up this offer...twice. The first time a number of years ago and this time around this time last year. This month for the 2nd time they've reneged on this promise and upped both the interest rate and minimum payment. Unfortunately I have misplaced the original letters. Yes, I'm an idiot. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ...

Hi Does anybody know of any good rates available where a transfer in is allowed? I sent off the forms for the Northern Rock ISA last week but I suspect I've missed the boat. I assume that they will contact me to let me know one way or another? thanks SJ

I note that the internal drive that comes with the HR21 is #WD3200AVJS which says it is 3.2 GB transfer - ...

MSN for the Mac has been garbage for years. I've never seen a fast transfer rate with it. Even opening ports has no affect on how slow the transfers operate. This could be directly plugged into the modem, without a firewall as well. It's a prime example of one of the ways Microsoft cripples their software because it's not on Windows. Not to mention the lacking Video/Audio. I've ...

this has happened to me (2003) and others on here too. my experience was that they cold-called me to offer me a deal - i said i had a great low LOB with another bank and that unless they could beat if then no thanks - thinking they couldn't beat and and would go away. they undercut it by a third - so i double checked that it was for the LOB etc etc and arranged to move my balance. ...
