I have a 6 speed and transfer case that came out of Ford crash test vehicle. I've had in my garage for about 5 years. I bought it for a 4x4 conversion project, but didn't find out it wasn't for a 7.3 until it was too late to return it. Its in central Ohio. I can ship it truck freight from my business to just about anywhere. I paid 2,000 for it, and would love to break even, but I'm open to ...

I have a 98 Dakota 3.9l with an exploded nv231 tcase. I am having trouble locating one that will work as I'm told only the 98-99 dakota/durango will work. I have been able to find a few of the 242 cases off the 5.9l. Could I bolt a 242d right in? Would I have to change the shifter on the floor/centre console as well? On a secondary note - has anyone had trouble removing the rear ...

I have a set of drop brackets that I made for my Jeep. They are made of 1" Steel Square Tubing. They are oxidized but work very well. $10 dollars takes them, shipping is not included but they are small and light so it won't cost more than a few dollars.

did a quick search, but. . . Sorry if I'm but just saw an offer for a np242 from a 1996 Grand Cherokee 4.0l for sale cheap. I have a 97 XJ, and I'd like the full-time option for the daily driver. Is anything else needed for the swap other than the t-case. Obviously I'd like to get the indicator too, but would I be missing something? It's already removed and ready to go, and cheap, ...

I need a few T handle transfer case covers. They dont need to be perfect. I can us parts if that is all you have. Send pics if you have them, tm76eb@gmail.com
The fluid specified for my transfer case calls for basic Mercon ATF. I saw some Mobil 1 synthetic ATF today in the auto parts store. Can I use this for the transfer case? I don't see why not.
