Well I tried some CPU,GPU transcoding using a MP4 Video 480x270 TO MP4 .M2TS Video 1920x1080 The strange part is that ATI stream 2 with new 9.12 hotfix drivers were slower then beta drivers 9.11 anyone tried this out yet. I've got a big pile of clips that are ProRes 422 encoded, sizable, and numerous. However, as a result of a button not pushed in Compressor, they all have audio encoded using AAC - which we know FCP cannot edit without rendering again and again. Hi, I need to reduce the file sizes of some composite recordings So far I have capturing one VHS home video to PC via composite using wintv7. The .TS file (mpgv + mpga 720x576) is huge at 6.61 GB for 1h51m. I used VLC to transcode it to 0.5 the resolution using the H.264 + AAC profile. How do I turn on ffmpeg debug logs? I have tried giving --ffmpeg-debug-mask=3 in the vlc command line but no luck. I've also compiled ffmpeg in debug mode.

BUG: Rushes/Redline crash Transcoding from any R3D that has a corrupt frame results in either Rushes or Redline crashing. With redline it simply segfaults. With Rushes the transcode will die and all subsequent clips will not be processed. I suspect Redline is crashing under the parent app (rushes) and there is no error handler ...

Hi Folks, I the current version of Orb up and running on a windows home server streaming content to my direct TV HR20 boxes. Everything seems good, the transcoding is working correctly and steams start and pause correctly. This is over a wired gige network.
