This may be a bit old but new to me. I know they make body kits for the Camaro to make it look like a trans am but this is just over the top good!!! ASC recreates a Trans Am with a 2010 Camaro THEAUTOEXTREMIST - Rants - Autoextremist.com ~ the bare-knuckled, unvarnished, high octane truth...

Intro This is my first full before/during/after detail write-up. Over the past couple of years, I have had the pleasure of reading through a countless number of detailed write-ups by many talented detailers. While I'm not a professional, I am an enthusiast who really enjoys detailing his own (and friends/family) cars. I'm planning to do more of these in the future, so this certainly won't ...

Im thinking about getting this http://norfolk.craigslist.org/pts/1478301765.html rear diff for my '88 2.5 truck, later to be 383 stroker. Is it worth swapping this into the 7.5 rear or will it still be weak? what exactly is meant by weak, what breaks? plus i could use the rear disc conversion. thanks

*!*!This is just a feeler for now!*!*!* Ok, in light of my wifes most recent rampages, I think it is time to see if there is any interest in my TA and stroker. The Good! The car is Black with chrome 09 C6 rims (GREAT SHAPE), it has a fiberglass ram-air hood with flat black fire chicken. It has a 2" Ibach pro-kit drop so it looks aggressive. The paint is GREAT and there are ...

I just recently purchased one of these on ebay. I did a search here on all the forums but have found only buildups of the 1/25 scale model. Has anyone out there built this kit, and if so do you have any pics? The kit is nice in that it has parts to build a basic Firebird or the T-Top Trans Am. The engine that comes with it is the cross-fire 305. This kit could be built as any 82 thru 84 Firebird...

click on the slideshow link halfway down the page. http://www.transamdepot.com/phoenix-trans-am.cfm If they made this car factory (if Pontiac was still around) I'd sell my soul to get one.
My project over the next week is to install Protouring F-bodies suspension kit on my 1977 Special Edition Pontiac Trans-Am.... The car starts with a 1999 rebuilt suspension as part of a ground up home done rebuild, body work and paint all done by me as a first time project so its not great but I am ok with it, and it has many street miles and some track time so it is dirty and not a show car so ...

Thanks unmolestedTa...I'm sure you can do at least as well as I have on my car. I swear I think I lack the patience for issues like this these days. I called Dave and the rear spring parts are shipping today. He suggested I take a sawzall and cut through the rubber bushings that would free them and allow me to slide in the new aluminum ones in from the sides whithout droping the sub as far down...
