Trance X sizing question

I have a question about sizing. I am 6'1/2" and may have a deal on a medium size Trance X3. My question is this bike going to be to small, and would I be better off waiting and getting a large? I don't want to buy this bike if I would be better off on a large size frame. How big a difference is there between the medium and large size frames? Thanks

Well folks, after seeing Civil’s trance and seeing how light it was. It looked like a better idea to get the extra inch of rear travel, and forget about the lighter anthem as my racing days are over. Pike on a Trance X, other 140mm options?

I'm seriously contemplating putting a thru-axle fork on my '08 Trance X1. The current Fox F120RL has been fine but for the technical rocky riding I prefer I think a thru-axle would help. That being said, I'd like to hear from some people that have put Pikes on their Trance X's. Do you find yourself using the u-turn feature? How does the bike handle with the fork at 140mm (does it really hurt ...

Trance X fenders

I know Specialized stumpjumper and other bikes have factory mud flaps that attach to the "swingarm" (sorry im a motorcycle guy) But does the Trance X have a mud fender that does not attach to the seat stem? I hate those... Thanks!

Anyone else written off Trance X bearings in period of 12 months? Mine's an 08 model... and have been clunking for a ride or two and today I realised the problem... Have the bearings changed since 2008, I can see one is a different colour on the 2010 frame - but is does this mean the bearing spec has changed or just a colour!? The 2010 Trance X Carbon also has a three arm dust ...

I'm 6' 2" and ride a large. I could have gone with a medium but I probably would have had to get a different stem and run the seatpost up to the max. If you are buying; get a large.
