Any weigh-ins on these two similar films? Now by similar I mean in topic, not by genre. Requiem is definitely a more depressing, surrealistic view on drugs while Trainspotting has a more subltey to it, with a string of comedy with it. Ultimately though, both send the message on avoiding drugs all together. My "professional pick": Trainspotting. Requiem was a little too difficult to watch...

go and watch city of god or spun or candy or requiem for a dream or trainspotting but don't watch this. this is a waste of time simple movie you can guess the good ending in the first 10 minutes of the movie.
