I'm coming down from SF to San Diego this weekend, and want to bring my rigid SS bike. I'm wondering what trails are fun for a SS bike in the SD area. My memory of my one ride at mission trails lead me to believe that it is SS-able (for the most part). But, I figure there are other SS riders in SD who could help me find other trails. I rode my 06 in a hare scrambles that was real muddy and slow. I had big time problem with it overheating. I have been told that you should put a catch bottle on it and change the gearing to 13-50. I mainly ride MX so I haven't tried it out. There is supposed to be an offroad series this winter at pacific Raceways, it will be WORCS style races. I'm planning on trying those. Oh and about ...
