Hey Stackers, I just received my black trackball in the mail but I am concerned. It has the white band around the outside and was sent with the silver circle piece for the curve. Is this normal and it will still fit the bold, or did they send me a curve trackball by mistake? Are all trackballs the same size?

i bought two bolds and noticed that one of them has a trackball that sits lower than the other bold. Feels like you have to push it harder for it to roll. Is this normal when buying a brand new bold? should i bring it back and get a new trackball and get them to fix it or is there something that i can do myself to bring the track ball up?

My brand new Happ trackball seems to work great going up and down in MAME however...left and right it just kinda "sticks". The ball spins but the cursor doesn't move with it Unless you really spin it hard. It isn't consistent sometimes it will track just fine. so yesterday i found a little scrape on my trackball and it has been the reason why my trackball has been getting stuck (atleast i think so). So i want to bring it into telus to get it fixed. The thing i'm wondering about is would it be under my warranty?

The Apple Mouse (the one before the Mighty Mouse) really is a clunker. I'm on my third mouse in less than two years and the trackball stopped working each time. Poor quality indeed. Was looking to upgrade to the Mighty Mouse but not sure now. Apple never was very good in the mouse dept. (remember the "puck"?). So i disassemble my 8900 trackball to clean it also the 4 magnetic rollers but when i put it back, it become messed up....top become right, right become bottom, bottom become left and left become top.... what fault did i do?...how to fix?...

Is there a way to designate another button (maybe one of the volume buttons on the side of the handset) for snapping pictures? Using the trackball can be problematic especially when trying to do self portraits. Any idea if it is possible to write an app that might provide a fix?
