My wife has a 2002 4Runner with 150K miles. Sounds like either an O2 sensor or the catalytic converter is bad. Toyota quoted $500 for the sensor and $1000 to replace a cat (there are two; not sure which one is bad). Do those of you with Toyotas have any experience with this? Would an OEM cat be that much more reliable than an aftermarket ...

I have been so tired of hearing about how much better Toyotas, Nissans, and Hondas are better than any other cars made in the world. If they are so good why don't you see any of them at the prestine classic car auctions like Barrett-Jackson? Anyone know anything about this? Basically my drivers side door won't lock or unlock with the keyfob. The dealership said I need a new actuator at about $356 plus around $200 give or take for labor. I have a brand new in the box glock 27 and up to 2000 cash. I am looking for a nice 4x4 that can be daily driven and taken to the woods. Toyotas and other small trucks are preffered, but i will look at any suv or truck. No fixer uppers or unfinished projects. Thanks, Ray
