I hav o a ACER lap top wit Vista ultimate. It seems that regaurdless of what I do I can not disable the touch pad mouse. I check the drivers and there dosent seem to be a driver for it there. I don't have a tapping tab when I go under the mouse part of my control panel. Is there another way to access it? Unit is about 4 yr old & was working & died in mid cycle. The touch pad is complete out & dosent function. Ordered & replaced the control module - problem still exists. Thanks for your help>

Please Help Me with my Control panel problems! All the cycle selections of the control panel touch pad stopped working. My dishwasher will not run with the 'norm', 'light', 'rinse' or 'heavy wash' touch pad selections. None of these lights come on anymore. It only will function on the 'Auto Wash' touch pad selection. It will probably stop working all together, very soon! Model # MDB8851AWS...

I cannot seem to find the proper download for installing the touch Pad settings control. I have an Inspiron 1721 running Vista Home Premium. I have been through all of the Dell Downloads and help topics , I'm sorry but I just can't locate it. Can anyone give me some help?

i recently had my laptop taken in to have a virus removed, when i got it back everything had been reset, including the touch pad that i had originally turned off for writing purposes. Hi there, I'm using Macbook Alu late 2008 but unfortunately when i'm using the touch pad.....sometimes my browser will bigger automatic when i'm move it... Btw, my Macbook still in warranty, if can claim, where supposed i go?

I was using Windows Vista then upgraded to Windows 7. It's working great mostly except that now I can't use my touch pad to scroll like I used to. How do I get that back? 1 person needs an answer I do too

Thanks, that worked. Before I searched for this obvious answer, I went to device manager, mice and other pointing devices and clicked on "update driver". I got the response that I had the most recent driver. I am disappointed in Windows 7. What's up with that?

I'm back to square one. No you are further ahead as now you know that it is probably the keyboard you just have to double check it. How do I test the Key pad? I test for continuity between the various pins i.e. Pin 9 - Pin 6 for 'Normal Wash, Pin 9 - Pin 5 for 'Heavy Wash', Etc.?
