I live in zone 7 where temperatures do get below freezing-Can I leave my tophat in it's container on the porch and just cover it with a sheet when it goes below freezing or should I bring it indoors? Is it too warm inside the house-I see many postings of bringing it inside the garage.

C'mon said the Fat Controller to Das Boot the GTR on Wednesday morning. I've bought a new Top Hat and want to try it out. The Top Hat was an AGV flip face that was bought somewhat cheaply through the Adventure riders website. I'm not sure I want to said Das Boot, I'm all clean, my oil and water levels are just right and my tyre pressures feel nice. Glaring at the Fat Controller he ...

You know how Pikachu and Jigglypuff get hats and stuff? The other pokemon should have as well. And Charizard should have gotten a top hat and monocle. Maybe a cigar, too.

I started an identical thread in 'hats' but evidently there are no Holmes fans reading it. Here's something useless: How tall was Jeremy Brett's top hat worn in his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes? (The defining characterization, for many of us). In some shots it looks relatively short, perhaps less than 6". Anyone know?

Am I right to suppose that it is unwise to use steam to restore the 'curl' to a top hat brim that has gone flat? I imagine that the steam will fatally weaken the shellacked buckram or pasteboard brim 'core' within, and/or weaken the glue that holds the silk plush to the brim? Has anyone tried this? Which leads to the question: How do you restore the curl?

06 Teins on 98 RS, Top hat fitment question Hey Guys. I am to understand that in order to fit 06 wrx tein coilovers onto my 98 rs is to replace the top hats in the rear. Can anyone tell me which top hats will work to get the suspension to fit properly in the rear? Thanks RS25.com is an enthusiast supported site. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please ...

You're welcome, filfoster! Working on hats can be daunting at first, but it's worth the effort to bring these vintage jewels back to life. I don't guess we'll see before and after photos, will we? Brad

I agree with John on trying to find the right screen, height width shape etc. I found with my screen that the top line was right in my line of vision, either had to sit up straighter to see over it or slouch to look through. It was worse at night or in the rain. What I did was cut the lip off, very very carefully, this solved two problems, line of sight and also buffeting. I am not tall only 5'7 ...

Pick up a set of Bakemono Imports rear camber plates and throw them onto the WRX coilovers. Then they should bolt right up. To my knowledge, you can take any GC/GM rear top hats and throw them onto the coilovers and be good. Whiteline, Cusco, Bakemono Imports are all a few companies that make GC specific camber plates. If it gets below -40 F then put it in the garage else leave it outside. I was wondering has your Top Hat Blueberry ever produced any berries, because I thought of buying a Dwarf-Blueberry but didn't thick it would produce as much as a normal bush?
