There's a report from Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com that Tommy Dreamer will be leaving WWE. It's not been confirmed yet, but apparently the word was spreading around the locker room at last night's SmackDown/ECW show. Dreamer signed a new deal within the last few months but the rumour is that he has requested a release. Click here for the PWInsider.com story.

The word going around WWE is that Tommy Dreamer will be departing the company. Dreamer had signed a new deal last summer, but the word going around the ECW/Smackdown tapings last night was that Dreamer had asked for his release. Dreamer has been with WWE since 2001, working both as a performer and also holding other responsibilities in the company. More shortly.

Hammer put it perfectly, sub-par at every aspect in wrestling, will not miss him for a second. About time the door finally closed 100% on anything to do with the old ECW.
